It’s ok to be scared. Being scared means you’re about to do something really, really, really brave. @the.good.vibes.girl
At the end of Swami Asokananda’s last event in Melbourne, this photo was taken. Being brave, stepping up, offering this tour whilst focussing and being authentic in my efforts and business, was a most uncomfortable and unpredictable experience.
The gift of community is a powerful reminder that we are all connected and supported. Courage, compassion, and connection, according to Brene Brown (The Gifts of Imperfection), are necessary for a meaningful life and to have community.
And a supportive community (read on below about joining our community!) allows you to be brave, authentic.
- go into the world through the gift of your work.
- be spiritual in business without following a religion.
- be part of a larger destiny and fulfill your potential on this earth.
It simply requires you to walk with your feet firmly on the earth, pay your way in life, meet your responsibilities and care for yourself and others.
An authentic business is the capacity to know the difference between superficial wealth and the gift of adding value to the world.
I share this feedback below as a potent reminder to myself and to you, that it’s ok to ‘be scared’. Our gift to others in being authentic is often unexpected.
Thank you again for dreaming big and then taking on the challenge of arranging a most amazing Swami visit. I know you did not do it for the praise. However, you can be truly proud of the entire program and the way it unfolded. Sending my sincere thanks again to both of you. A regular student who took the courage to book the entire program.
I’m so grateful to have participated. I have wisdom from the lessons popping into my head daily. I notice that the calm has remained! Even on busy chaotic days, I find myself referring to the teachings Swami offered. A yoga teacher, who took the courage to attend following very recent surgery.
Swami Asokananda’s visit and teaching have triggered me to reflect and feel like I want to step up and deepen my knowledge and practice this year. A regular student, who has since signed up for yoga teacher training.
I invite you to stay connected, share your authenticity and remain inspired. Click here to be part of a closed Facebook community with Swami Asokananda!
