Covid Guidelines: In Studio March 2022

Experience Yoga is following the DHHS Guidelines for all Studio sessions. Before booking and attending a Studio session, ensure you read the information below. Your attendance is your acceptance of these Guidelines. This is for the safety and well-being of all.

Attendance if a ‘close contact’ or awaiting a test result: If you are a ‘close contact’, you cannot attend the Studio until you complete the required self-isolation and return a negative test. If you are awaiting a test result, you also cannot attend.

Vaccination status: Experience Yoga is only accepting fully vaccinated students for any session or Private. You are required to bring proof of this to your initial session only. Partially or non-vaccinated people are not accepted in the Studio.

Studio check-in process: Due to recent changes in VIC Government requirements, this is no longer required. 

Attendance if unwell: Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have the slightest hint of a cold/flu. You will not be charged for this session, however the session needs to be completed within the validity of the Block/payment period.

Arrival: Please plan to arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class. Ensure you keep 1.5m distance from others in the walkway/courtyard and only one person at a time at the shoe stand.

Hygiene: Please use the hand sanitiser provided outside the Studio, prior to entering. At present a face mask is not required in the Studio.

Social distancing: once inside the Studio please stay on your mat and do not walk around. This includes the teacher.

Departure: at the end of class ensure that only one person leaves at a time to maintain social distancing. Please be patient.

Bookings: advance booking and payment for a Studio space are essential online.

Cancellation24 hours’ notice of any cancellation is required, otherwise that session credit is forfeited. This is as per our Terms of Service.

Class size (at present): limited to 6 people. Designated places for your mat will be indicated.

Combined sessions: Some sessions will be a combined in Studio and online class. This allows others to attend and those vulnerable to join in via Zoom. Please be tolerant of the need for technology in the Studio.

Equipment: Please bring your own mat, a large towel and water. You are welcome to use other Studio equipment, or bring your own e.g. blankets, cushion, eyebag.

Yoga practices: At present you can join in the chanting and pranayama in Studio classes, if you feel comfortable to do so. If you are joining via Zoom these can all be completed.

Bathroom: The toilet is available for use with paper towel and hand sanitiser provided, no towels.

Studio cleaning: Thorough cleaning of the Studio including all door handles, ledges etc occurs before and after every session, following infection control guidelines.

Covid-safe plan: Consistent with the DHHS Guidelines, the Studio has a Covid plan in place. A copy is in the Studio, so please ask me if you wish to see this.
