Instagram post 2241718111625696265_2200548580 COME TO REST - WITH NO PLANS FOR 'DOING'! 💐 When you don't rest, you wear out, wear down, and start running on empty. 💐 Then you’re not much good for yourself or anyone else! 💐 But when you get some rest, and get more rested, you have more energy, mental clarity, resilience, patience. 💐 Tell the truth to yourself about how much time you actually truly come to rest - not planning anything, not going anywhere. 💐 Learn to encourage your body, breath, emotions and mind to come to rest - to replenish and rebuild yourself. 💐 Can your nervous system really afford to miss these monthly sessions?! And to top it off, our brain has a negativity bias – meaning it ‘sticks’ to the bad experiences and memories, not the good ones. 🙉 When you start doing something different, something you've never done before, it can feel like you’re on shaky ground. Too many potholes and what if it all falls apart?! 🙈 It’s easy to wait - not walk the path less travelled. 🙊 So, we must become our own cheerleaders, our own biggest fans! 🙉 Encourage yourself this week, start walking your own path and tell me what happens.Thanks @brookmccarthy for your wise encouragement to be real in life and business.
