Thinking about the working day ahead (and writing this blog) I asked my friend.. Read more

Different yoga practices suit different bodies at different times. There is no one size fits all!

The mind also influences the optimal environment of our cells, our body – to create their happy chemistry!

Explore movement and breathing in varied ways to work more deeply into your fascia. Invite your cells to create their happy β€˜pain’ free place.

Instagram post 2244148111301705668_2200548580 WHY PRACTISE ONLINE?!
πŸ€”
Yes we have the best intentions.
πŸ€”
A good dose of patience is required to put in the hard work.
πŸ€”
However we don't need to do it alone!
πŸ€”
There are benefits of practising online and safely in your own home.
πŸ€”Β
Listen how a therapeutic approach to yoga creates a pathway to freer movement, health and wellbeing.
Instagram post 2241718111625696265_2200548580 COME TO REST - WITH NO PLANS FOR 'DOING'!
πŸ’
When you don't rest, you wear out, wear down, and start running on empty.
πŸ’
Then you’re not much good for yourself or anyone else!
πŸ’
But when you get some rest, and get more rested, you have more energy, mental clarity, resilience, patience.
πŸ’
Tell the truth to yourself about how much time you actually truly come to rest - not planning anything, not going anywhere.
πŸ’
Learn to encourage your body, breath, emotions and mind to come to rest - to replenish and rebuild yourself.
πŸ’
Can your nervous system really afford to miss these monthly sessions?! Bookings essential & session passes now available, so you don't miss a place.
πŸ’
And did I say this photo was taken by my husband!!!
Instagram post 2240341824671713527_2200548580 Our brain loves to get stuck in habitual patterns, you know those ruts that we say we just can’t shift? And to top it off, our brain has a negativity bias – meaning it β€˜sticks’ to the bad experiences and memories, not the good ones.
πŸ™‰
When you start doing something different, something you've never done before, it can feel like you’re on shaky ground. Too many potholes and what if it all falls apart?!
πŸ™ˆ
It’s easy to wait - not walk the path less travelled.
πŸ™Š
So, we must become our own cheerleaders, our own biggest fans!
πŸ™‰
Encourage yourself this week, start walking your own path and tell me what happens. Thanks @brookmccarthy for your wise encouragement to be real in life and business.
