Every day you can scroll stunning ‘posts’ about yoga, buy the latest yogi gear, download a new meditation app. This shiny advertising has become another ‘hook’ for the mind, offering happiness…

Is this how yoga is important?

One of my business values is to teach evidence-informed practices in a wholistic way. It is important that these meet YOU where your body, breath, mind, and life are at this moment. In a way, that enhances your focus, your health and your well-being. This is yoga. And it makes a difference.

My students tell me they feel better when they take regular time for themselves. They tell me they feel good about themselves and happier in their current life situation. They sleep better, they make healthier food choices, they are less reactive. And the list goes on..

I believe most people who come to a yoga class for the first or the fiftieth time, experience something they wish to ‘capture’ and take home. I believe they experience new sensations in their body, room to breathe, space from all the thoughts, a personal place of ease.

Yoga IS physically beneficial, however, is much more than exercise. As soon as your awareness connects movement to breath, breath to movement, something shifts. Your habitual brain pathways start to re-pattern, your mind takes a different focus and ‘yoga’ begins.

Yoga as a balanced practice of physical poses, deep relaxation, breathing practices, meditation and lifestyle principles, is incredibly beneficial for all of us.

And I would not practice every-day, moment-moment (as best as I can!) if it did not bring benefits into my life!

So come along and see how important it is! Whether you are new to yoga or practise regularly, this workshop will teach you skills to bring out the best in you, here, now.

And if you have read to the end, I am offering the first 2 people who share their thoughts about this post (by leaving a response below), a $10 discount for this half-day workshop.

  1. I have personal experience with Caroline (Experience Yoga). I love the patient and helpful way Caroline instructs our group. There may have been injury, illness, however, we all feel comfortable in the happy tranquil studio Caroline offers. The expert instructions, personal approach and encouragement with our yoga, restorative and relaxation times. Our group all feel welcome and grateful for such a wonderful teacher.

  2. Hi Caroline — I’m new to yoga but think I might like to try the ‘yoga for wellbeing’ course, and wondered how many people will be in the class. My niece might like to come, too. 🙂

  3. I like the sound of the workshop, Caroline. I’m new to yoga, but the combination of physical poses, relaxation, breathing practices and meditation sounds like it would definitely be beneficial.
