TIMEOUT FOR WOMEN WHO DO TOO MUCH
Busy, stressed, no time for your-Self?

Slow down, breathe, pause and experience the benefits of yoga techniques on your nervous system, immune functioning and clarity of thinking. A deeply restful pose, fully supported with bolsters, blocks and blankets, completes the session.

Leave feeling replenished following a healthy afternoon tea. Space limited to 8 people.

The ‘relaxation response’ is your personal ability to encourage your body to release chemicals and brain signals that assist your muscles and organs to slow down and to increase blood flow to the brain. This assists:

  • Anyone to ‘rest’ and recover from daily stressors.
  • Tissue recovery and repair post-injury, surgery, illness.
  • People with chronic stress, muscle and joint pain, gastrointestinal issues, hypertension, insomnia, mood and anxiety disorders.

Relax and Renew® Trainer

Caroline qualified as a Relax & Renew® trainer in 2012 with Judith Hanson Lasater, the renowned international expert and researcher on restorative yoga. Caroline assisted Judith with her Level 1 restorative teacher training in Melbourne, 2014.

Caroline is currently using these practices extensively in her private therapeutic sessions with clearly reported positive outcomes from her clients. Her monthly evening restorative class at the studio books out in advance and is a haven for busy executives, injured athletes and weary parents.

‘Let your body rest and breathe deeply with eyes closed. Feel the sensations as the external world fades away. There are no demands on you now, no need to be perfect, not even in the pose. Imagine you are entering a temple where you can lay down your burdens and rest in the stillness.’
